The University of Ghana Students’ Representative Council (UGSRC) has officially postponed the highly anticipated 67th SRC Week Celebration to a new date in August.
Initially scheduled for July 20th to 26th, 2025, the week-long celebration will now be held from August 10th to 16th, 2025. This decision follows the recent lifting of a temporary ban on SRC-related activities by university authorities.
In an official statement signed by the UGSRC General Secretary, Lorinda Owie Teyehugmeh, the council extended heartfelt apologies to the student body for the sudden change in schedule. They also reaffirmed their dedication to delivering a vibrant and memorable celebration when the new date arrives.
“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and assure the student body of our unwavering commitment to making this year’s SRC Week one to remember,” the statement read.
The SRC Week is one of the most exciting events on the University of Ghana calendar, often packed with activities ranging from talent shows, sports competitions, panel discussions, artiste night, and much more.
